Stoneygate Starlight is a 1999 RID mare by the great Paddy's Pride out of the Select Hornsby Premium mare known as Huntingfield Beauty. Starlight was imported many years ago from Scotland and has been a wonderful broodmare for us. She is the only approved RID daughter in the United States by Paddy's Pride who was a proven show jumper well into advanced age and who has won many numerous awards, which is noted on Tara Wood's information page. Her dam Huntingfield Beauty was in the United States but was expatriated back home where she won her third Hornsby Premium and is now a Select Hornsby Premium mare.Starlight produces foals that are good minded, and easy to handle.
Her 2013 colt by Celtic Moon finally arrived on Mother's Day. We are excited about the cross as Celtic is producing offspring with good bone, athleticism and minds. This is actually a first colt for both sire and dam as they have only had fillies to date!
